Who is this session for?
This session is for those who feel overwhelmed by racing thoughts during the day and want to prepare for a calmer night. You can listen to it when you need a mental break, looking for a way to quiet the noise in your mind and gently refocus.
How does it unfold?
- at the startPreparationYou are gently introduced to the natural state of hypnosis, learning to release any pressure to succeed.
- around 1 minInductionYou narrow your attention by noticing specific sounds and sensations, letting outside noises simply pass by.
- around 2 minDeepeningA slow countdown and a touch of mild confusion help your analytical mind let go and drift deeper.
- around 4 minHeart of the sessionYou build a sensory safe haven, focusing on a single color and texture to keep mental noise outside.
- around 7 minAnchoringYou set up a simple breathing trigger to easily return to this peaceful place when you go to bed.
- around 8 minReturn to wakefulnessA gentle count from one to five brings your awareness back to the room, leaving you refreshed for the day.
Why does it help you sleep?
By deliberately narrowing your focus to just a few sensory details, you give your mind a break from overthinking. The slight confusion used during the countdown tires out your analytical thoughts, making it easier to surrender to relaxation. Creating a mental safe haven during the day builds a familiar, quiet space you can easily recall later. When night comes, your brain already knows the path to this peaceful state, which can facilitate a much smoother transition into rest.
How to listen
Find a comfortable seated or lying position, and set your volume to a gentle whisper. Even though this session gently wakes you up at the end, if you decide to listen to it in bed, it is perfectly fine to drift off to sleep before it finishes.

This is a hypnosis session to help you quiet mental noise and rediscover the pleasure of focusing on just one thing. Hypnosis is a natural state of gentle concentration, much like when you are completely absorbed in a good book. You remain entirely in control the whole time, and there is absolutely nothing to succeed at here. If your mind wanders today, or if it doesn't quiet down right away, that is perfectly fine. Every experience is just right. You can simply sit or lie down, letting the surface support your weight, and allow the session to unfold. As you settle in, just let every exhalation carry away a bit of the day's tension, feeling your chest fall softly and naturally… Your body is resting on the surface, the air comes in and out, and you can begin to notice three things you hear right now. Perhaps my voice… or a distant sound outside… or just the subtle hum of the space around you. And you can notice three things you feel… the comforting weight of your shoulders sinking down… the texture of the fabric against your skin… the gentle movement of your chest as you breathe. If a sound passes by outside, it just goes on its way, and you have nowhere else to be. Now, let your mind find two things to hear… maybe the quiet spaces between the words… or a faint rustle nearby. And two things you feel… the pleasant warmth of your hands, or the way your feet are supported. Allowing the rhythm of your breathing to guide you inward, noticing how each long, slow breath creates a bit more space inside your mind… Until you just notice one sound… and one feeling… drawing your attention inward, softly and safely. To go a little further into this comfortable state, we can count down slowly from ten to one. Ten… stepping down into a quiet inner space. Nine… relaxing a bit more. You might take a step down, then pause and float back up just a little, before going twice as deep on eight. Seven… the numbers can become blurry now, fading away on their own. Six… letting go of the need to do anything at all. Five… drifting deeper still. What was just a moment ago will soon be a long time ago, and what is to come was already there, just a bit further than what remains… Here, it is quiet. Four… the mind settling beautifully. Three… deeper still, as the outside world fades. Two… almost there, letting the last bits of tension dissolve. One… completely at ease. You can simply let your breathing continue its gentle, rolling rhythm, feeling a wave of calmness wash over you with every breath out… In this quiet space, you can begin to build a safe haven, a perfect place for rest. It might be a cozy room with soft blankets, or a peaceful enclosed garden where the air is perfectly still. You can listen to every word, or let them drift by, or focus on a single sound in this pleasant place. Just notice one color here… perhaps the deep blue of twilight, or the warm gold of a small lamp. Notice one soft texture under your fingers… maybe the smooth grain of polished wood, or the inviting softness of velvet. The mental noise stays entirely outside these walls. And you breathe, and the colors settle, and the mind finds its single focus. Time can stretch here… a few minutes of rest can feel like an hour of deep calm. As this safe place becomes clearer, your breathing may slow down even more. And it's so easy to let go of the noise without even trying. Take a moment to breathe in the tranquil atmosphere of this space, letting the slow, steady rhythm of your chest anchor you right here in the present… This quiet place is yours, carefully built and always waiting for you. Whenever you wish, tonight or any other night when your head touches the pillow, you can take three slow breaths to bring this safe place back to mind. Your mind knows how to find this calm again, effortlessly. Even if sleep takes its time to arrive later tonight, or if you simply rest quietly in the dark, you will be exactly where you need to be. There is no failure, only rest. Since this is a moment taken during your day, it is soon time to bring this gentle focus back with you. I will count from one to five, and you can return at your own comfortable pace. One… becoming softly aware of the room around you. Two… feeling the surface beneath your body, as your energy slowly begins to rise. Three… taking a slightly deeper breath now, bringing fresh, revitalizing air into your chest, feeling more alert and beautifully refreshed… Four… your body is waking up, feeling completely present. Five… whenever you are ready, you can open your eyes, bringing this calm mental space into the rest of your day.
