Metaphor self-hypnosis: A symbolic story that carries you into deep relaxation.

This session is a moment of relaxation. It does not replace professional support. If you have any kind of dependence, talk to a doctor or a support service in your country, and don't stop on your own without medical advice.

Who is this session for?

This session is for anyone who feels overwhelmed by automatic daily habits or a constant stream of mental impulses. It is ideal to listen to when you need to take a step back from your routines and quiet a restless mind.

How does it unfold?

  1. at the startPreparationThe voice gently introduces the practice, reminding you that there is no pressure and no right or wrong way to listen.
  2. around 1 minInductionYou are guided to focus on your senses and your breathing, allowing your eyelids to become comfortably heavy.
  3. around 3 minDeepeningA countdown from ten to one takes you down a peaceful path, increasing your physical relaxation with each step.
  4. around 5 minThe Quiet StationYou imagine sitting on a bench in a bright station, watching trains that represent your impulses arrive and leave without boarding them.
  5. around 9 minAnchoringThe voice helps you memorize this feeling of freedom so you can easily recall this calm mental space later.
  6. around 10 minGentle ReturnA slow count from one to five brings your awareness back to the room, leaving you refreshed and present.

Why does it help you sleep?

By visualizing your thoughts and urges as passing trains that you do not have to board, you teach your mind to stop reacting to every mental trigger. This metaphor creates a profound sense of distance and internal space. When your attention learns to simply observe instead of acting, your nervous system naturally slows down. This gentle detachment releases physical tension and mental clutter, which can greatly facilitate a smooth transition into restful sleep.

How to listen

Settle into a comfortable seated or lying position during the day or evening, keeping the volume soft. Even though this session includes a gentle return to wakefulness, it is perfectly fine if you drift into a peaceful sleep before it ends.

This is a hypnosis session to help you take a calm moment and step back from a small daily habit.

Hypnosis is just a natural state of focused comfort… much like when you are completely absorbed in a good book… and the rest of the world softly fades away.

You always remain in control here.

You might follow this voice all the way, or let your mind wander completely, and both are perfectly fine.

There is no right or wrong way today… whatever happens is exactly what you need.

Right now, you can simply notice the space around you.

You are resting… your hands are finding their own comfortable place… and the air flows in and out without any effort.

You might notice the sound of this voice… or perhaps a distant sound outside…

And if a sound happens outside, it just belongs to the world, helping you focus more inside.

You can feel the gentle weight of your body settling down… the subtle movement of your chest as you breathe…

Your body is resting, the air flows in and out, and as this continues on its own, your eyelids can become comfortably heavy.

You can listen to the words, or just the rhythm of the voice… letting your attention slowly soften.

And as your mind relaxes, you can imagine a beautiful, quiet path leading down toward a peaceful place.

I will count from ten to one, and with each number, you can let yourself drift a little deeper into comfort.

Ten… stepping down gently… letting go of the day's momentum.

Nine… each breath allowing you to go twice as deep into this pleasant calm.

Eight… your shoulders relaxing even more.

Seven… drifting down easily… feeling safe and secure.

Six… halfway down… and it feels so good to simply do nothing.

Five… any passing thought just reminds you how easy it is to let things pass.

Four… deeper and more relaxed.

Three… almost there…

Two… feeling completely at ease…

One… resting beautifully at the bottom of the path.

Here, at the end of the path, you discover a bright, beautiful train station.

It is remarkably peaceful… filled with soft, natural light.

In the center of the platform, there is a very comfortable wooden bench.

You can sit down on this bench… and just appreciate the vast, open space around you.

Every now and then, a small train arrives at the station.

These trains are like those little impulses in your day… the urge to check a screen… or to reach for a snack without thinking.

A train gently pulls in right now… and its doors slide open.

Usually, you might just step on board out of habit, barely noticing the movement.

But today, sitting on this comfortable bench, things are different.

You don't have to board the train… you don't even have to move.

You can just watch the doors… and feel completely relaxed.

You are perfectly fine right where you are.

After a few moments, the doors slide closed… and the train rolls away empty.

You watch it leave the station… and as it disappears, it leaves behind a quiet, open space.

A wonderful feeling of freedom settles over you.

It feels so good to just sit here… watching the options come and go… knowing you have the power to stay seated.

Somewhere inside you, something has perhaps already changed its rhythm… settling into this new sense of ease.

Your mind and your body know how to find this calm space.

And whenever you wish, in your daily life, you can simply recall the image of this comfortable bench…

Taking one deep breath before deciding if you want to board the train, or just let it pass.

In a few moments, it will be time to bring this quiet strength back with you to the rest of your day.

I will count from one to five, and you will return at your own perfect pace.

One… slowly bringing your awareness back to the room around you.

Two… taking a slightly deeper breath, feeling fresh energy returning to your chest.

Three… small movements naturally returning to your hands and feet.

Four… you can stretch softly if you like, feeling refreshed and clear.

Five… opening your eyes at your own pace… feeling calm, present, and ready for whatever comes next.
