Who is this session for?
This session is for anyone struggling to switch off after a day filled with screens and mental clutter. It is the perfect companion when your mind feels overstimulated and you need a gentle transition from digital noise to restful silence.
How does it unfold?
- at the startPreparationYou are introduced to self-hypnosis as a natural state where you remain in control without any pressure.
- around 1 minInductionYou focus on things you hear, feel, and see, gently tiring your mind until it stops counting.
- around 3 minDeepeningYou visualize walking down a softly lit staircase, stepping deeper into relaxation with each descending number.
- around 6 minThe CoreYou imagine a control room to dim the glowing screens of your thoughts, sinking into sleep like a smooth stone.
- around 10 minAnchoringA physical cue is created with your breath, helping you return to this calm effortlessly on future nights.
- around 12 minDriftingThe words become sparse as time distorts, allowing you to drift peacefully into a long, restorative sleep.
Why does it help you sleep?
This method helps you fall asleep by shifting your attention away from racing thoughts. By engaging your senses with a simple countdown, it gently exhausts the analytical part of your brain so it can finally let go. The visualization of dimming screens perfectly mirrors the process of shutting down your mind, guiding your body into a state of deep rest.
How to listen
Listen at a low volume while lying comfortably in bed, ready for the night. Drifting off before the end is completely normal and exactly what you are meant to do.

Welcome to this self-hypnosis session for sleep… Hypnosis is a very natural state of mind, much like when you are completely absorbed in a wonderful book or a movie, and the rest of the world simply fades away… You are always in control here… There is absolutely nothing you need to achieve, no right or wrong way to do this… If you happen to fall asleep before the end, that is exactly what you are meant to do… Just let my voice guide you…
You are lying in your bed, your eyes are closed, you are listening to the sound of my voice… and you can just let yourself settle in… We will gently guide your attention to quiet your mind… Internally, name five things you can hear right now… maybe my voice, the quietness of the room, or a distant sound outside…
Now, name five things you can feel… the softness of your sheets, the weight of your head on the pillow, the gentle touch of the air on your skin…
And now, imagine five things in the dark behind your eyelids… shapes, soft shadows, or soothing colors…
Let us move to four things you hear… four things you feel… four things you see… Let your mind gently drift through them…
And if a thought about your day appears, it is simply a reminder that your mind is ready to turn it off… Moving down to three things… then two… letting the numbers blur together as your mind gently tires of counting, leaving space only for rest…
As the counting fades away, imagine a beautiful, softly lit staircase leading down into a space of absolute peace… There are ten steps… I will count down from ten to one, and with every breath you exhale, your body sinks a little deeper, feeling twice as deep with each step…
Ten… taking the first step down, feeling so incredibly relaxed…
Nine… letting go a little more…
Eight… sinking deeper into peace… And now, just imagine stepping back up to nine for a brief moment… before diving effortlessly all the way down to seven… twice as deep…
Six… five… the numbers are becoming blurry now, drifting further and further away…
Four… three… they are just distant echoes, washing away on their own…
Two… one… fading completely into the quiet dark… and you can just sleep deeply now…
Imagine you are stepping into a quiet, comfortable control room inside your mind… This is where all the bright screens, the buzzing thoughts, and the busy energy of your day are softly glowing… On the main panel, there is a large, smooth slider, numbered from ten down to zero… Place your hand on it, and slowly begin to pull it down… Ten, nine, eight… Notice how the light from those screens begins to dim, the volume of the day gently turning down… When the last screen goes dark, you will feel a wave of absolute peace… Seven, six, five… the screens are fading to a soft, comforting black… Four, three, two, one, zero… Total, restful silence…
You can drift into sleep right now, or let it wash over you in just a few moments…
In this dark, quiet space, you are like a smooth, heavy stone gently released into a calm, warm pool of water… sinking slowly, gracefully, through the comfortable warmth… sinking deeper into slow, deep sleep…
And as you drift, you can just observe your own body resting peacefully in the bed… watching how still and calm it looks… before letting your awareness gently melt perfectly into it, becoming one with this heavy, pleasant stillness…
Your body knows exactly how to sleep… it is its most natural rhythm… And from now on, whenever your head touches this pillow and you slowly exhale three times, this deep, dark calm will return instantly… even faster, and even deeper, effortlessly bringing you back to this perfect peace…
Take a very slow, deep breath in, and as you exhale completely, allow yourself to sink infinitely deeper into the heavy comfort of your bed…
If you ever need to get up, you will naturally regain full alertness… But for now, there is nowhere to be, nothing to do… In this beautiful space, time stretches out… every minute of this night feels like hours of absolute, restorative rest…
Drifting down…
Letting go completely…
Breathing so slowly, so softly…
Nothing but the quiet dark…
Deep sleep…
