Who is this session for?
This session is for anyone feeling overwhelmed by daily stress and needing to regain a sense of inner calm before resting. It is especially helpful when your mind is racing with doubts and you want to settle into a comfortable, secure mindset. You can listen to it when you need to step away from the rush and find a peaceful space within yourself.
How does it unfold?
- at the startPreparationThe voice reassures you that there is no pressure to succeed, inviting you to simply accept whatever level of calm comes to you.
- around 1 minInductionYou are guided to focus on your immediate physical sensations, using nearby sounds and your breathing to anchor your attention.
- around 3 minDeepeningYou mentally walk down a quiet path or staircase as a countdown from ten to one slowly releases your physical tension.
- around 5 minThe CoreYou construct a detailed, sensory safe place where you can visualize yourself acting with natural ease and quiet capability.
- around 8 minAnchoringThe voice helps you connect this deep feeling of security to your everyday breathing, making it easy to recall later.
- around 9 minGentle ReturnA gentle count from one to five slowly brings your awareness and physical energy back to the present moment.
Why does it help you sleep?
By shifting your focus away from racing thoughts and toward simple sensory details, this method naturally slows down your breathing. Creating a mental safe space gives your mind a comforting focal point, preventing it from wandering back to daily worries. This deep sense of security releases physical tension in your muscles, making your body feel heavy and relaxed. Ultimately, this profound comfort can facilitate a smooth and peaceful transition into deep rest.
How to listen
Listen to this recording at a low volume while lying down comfortably in bed, ideally right before you plan to rest. Even though the session includes a gentle return at the end, it is perfectly fine if you drift off to sleep before it finishes.

This is a hypnosis session to take a moment of calm and feel more comfortable with yourself.
Hypnosis is simply a natural state of focused attention.
It feels much like being entirely absorbed in a good book, while the world fades away.
You remain in complete control the entire time, and nothing is expected of you.
This state of quiet rest might settle in right away, or it could arrive a little later, or perhaps remain very light today.
In any case, you are exactly where you need to be, and whatever you experience is perfectly right.
There is nothing you have to achieve here.
You can just notice the simple weight of your body resting right now.
The air is moving in and out on its own, without any effort.
Allow your attention to lightly touch five things you can perceive right now.
Maybe the sound of my voice, the temperature of the air on your skin, or the texture of the surface beneath you.
If a random noise passes outside, it simply reminds you that the world keeps turning while you take this break.
And as you take a slow, comfortable breath in, notice the subtle shift in your chest, letting go as you breathe out…
As your attention narrows, you can simply let your breathing find its own steady rhythm, noticing how good it feels to just exhale and rest…
Your hands are completely still, resting wherever they have naturally fallen.
Every time the air leaves your lungs, your shoulders are allowed to lower just a fraction of an inch, releasing any old tension…
Somewhere in your mind, a quiet path is beginning to take shape.
It might be a wooden staircase, or perhaps a soft, winding trail leading downward.
I will count backward from ten to one, and with each number, you can drift a little further into this comfortable space.
Ten… Taking that first easy step down.
Nine… The numbers themselves can become a little blurry, drifting further into the background.
Eight… Going twice as deep with this gentle, imaginary step.
Seven… You can step back up a tiny bit in your mind, just to feel how much better it is to step down even further on six…
Five… The count is fading now, leaving entirely on its own.
Four… Almost at the base of this comforting, sheltered path.
Three… Nothing to figure out, just the gentle rhythm of your body.
And as you draw in another deep, soothing breath, feel the clean air filling you, and exhale slowly to sink deeper…
Two… Deeply relaxed, moving far away from the rush of the day.
What was just a moment ago will soon be long ago, and what is yet to come was already there, a little further than what remains…
Here, it is simply quiet.
One… Here at the bottom, a beautiful, safe place is waiting for you.
Take a moment to notice the soft colors surrounding this space.
Perhaps the gentle shade of green leaves, or the warm gold of late afternoon light filtering through.
You can hear the soothing sound of a light breeze, or maybe calm water flowing quietly nearby.
Take a very slow, deep breath in, absorbing the quiet atmosphere of this place, and as you exhale, let yourself become a part of this tranquility…
You can explore this place in detail, or just enjoy the feeling of being perfectly safe here.
There is a comfortable surface right here, inviting you to settle in completely.
In this calm space, you can see an image of yourself, feeling wonderfully at ease.
You are moving naturally, doing things you already know how to do so well.
The skills you have learned over the years are still there, perfectly intact.
Sometimes the mind gets busy and forgets, but your body remembers its natural capabilities.
Whether you feel a deep change now, or just a quiet rest, you are exactly where you need to be, and there is nothing to force.
You can listen to my words, or let them drift into the background like a distant melody.
Somewhere in your mind, something has already shifted toward more ease and assurance.
This calm assurance belongs to you, woven into your own experience, quietly waiting for you to notice it again.
Whenever you wish, perhaps when you settle down for a moment in your day, or every night when you prepare to rest…
You can take a slow, comfortable breath, drawing in peace, and as you breathe out, recall this safe place to reconnect with this natural confidence…
Your hands, which are holding onto nothing at all right now, can keep this peaceful habit.
And now, it is time to gently bring this pleasant energy back to the surface.
I will count from one to five, and at five, you will be fully alert, refreshed, and at ease.
One… Feeling the physical surface beneath you again, sensing the room around you.
Two… Your muscles are beginning to find their normal tone, waking up gently.
Three… Taking a slightly deeper breath now, bringing a wave of fresh, vibrant energy all the way into your chest…
Four… Your mind is clear, feeling refreshed and entirely comfortable with yourself.
Five… Whenever you are ready, you can slowly open your eyes at your own pace, returning fully to your day.
