Who is this session for?

This session is for anyone who carries the physical tension of a long day into their bed and struggles to let go of control. It is perfectly suited for those nights when your muscles feel stiff and you need a gentle, sensory escape to help your body unwind.

How does it unfold?

  1. at the startOpening RitualYou settle in safely and take three slow, deep breaths to signal your body that it is time to rest.
  2. around 1 minBody InductionThe voice guides you to silently repeat phrases that invite a comforting heaviness and gentle warmth into your limbs.
  3. around 3 minDeepeningYou visualize walking down a safe, peaceful stone staircase, sinking deeper into the mattress with every step.
  4. around 5 minThe Japanese GardenYou explore a beautiful garden in the gentle rain, letting the water naturally wash away your lingering physical stiffness.
  5. around 9 minAnchoring CalmYou create a mental anchor, like a small physical gesture or a specific word, to easily recall this relaxation on future nights.
  6. around 11 minDrifting to SleepThe vivid imagery gently fades away as the voice slows down, allowing you to peacefully slide into slumber.

Why does it help you sleep?

This approach focuses on creating sensations of heaviness and warmth, which naturally encourages your muscles to release their grip. By visualizing the gentle rain washing away tension, your mind shifts its attention away from daily worries and absorbs soothing sensory details. This combination of physical relaxation and calming mental imagery creates the ideal conditions to facilitate a deep, restorative rest.

How to listen

Listen to this recording at a low volume while lying comfortably in bed, right when you are ready to sleep. Remember that you do not need to stay awake until the end; just let yourself drift off whenever sleep naturally arrives.

Welcome to this time of rest. Everyone knows that time when the body finally decides to settle down after a long day… You remain in control of this gentle experience. If anything needs your attention, you will immediately be fully present… But right now, just let your body find its most comfortable position… Notice the solid points of contact between your body and the mattress… Let's take three slow breaths together, breathing in gently through the nose, and breathing out with a long sigh to release the day…

Take another deep, slow breath in, filling your lungs with calm air, and as you gently exhale, let your shoulders drop a little deeper into the mattress…

And one last time, breathe in softly, and exhale completely, letting your whole body sink into the softness beneath you, knowing you have nothing to do… just let your body untie itself to welcome rest…

You might notice a pleasant heaviness in your right arm, or your left arm, or maybe both at the same time… and that is perfectly fine… Just let these words echo gently in your mind… My right arm is heavy… my left arm is heavy… both my arms are completely heavy and relaxed…

My legs are resting completely heavy and supported on the bed… My whole body is resting… entirely heavy and safely supported by the surface beneath me…

As this comfortable weight settles, a gentle warmth begins to flow naturally… A soft warmth spreading into my hands… My arms and legs are pleasantly warm… My entire body is resting in a deep, comforting warmth…

You might notice that your breathing has already slowed down all on its own… and your muscles are starting to let go, preparing you for a deeper sense of tranquility…

Imagine a beautiful stone pathway sloping downward… a gentle staircase leading into a peaceful place. With every step you take in your mind, you step down safely and easily, letting go more deeply with each movement…

As you reach the bottom, you feel as light as an autumn leaf drifting gently through the quiet air… drifting further down, in complete safety, easily and smoothly, until it lands softly on the welcoming earth… sinking into profound comfort…

You find yourself in a magnificent Japanese garden, wrapped in a very fine rain… The air is cool and smells of wet earth and fresh leaves… You hear the gentle sound of raindrops tapping delicately on the emerald moss… softly whispering… The drops of water help nature to… let go… and simply… rest…

Soft paper lanterns cast a warm glow along the winding path… And just as the gentle rain washes the dust from the stones, this quiet shower washes away any lingering stiffness from your muscles, carrying all tension down into the earth, without any effort at all…

Any sound you might hear around you just becomes a part of this peaceful nature, taking you deeper… Look at a bamboo stem swaying in the soft breeze… It bends without breaking… it has stopped fighting the wind and simply rests. Your back knows exactly how to relax just like this, yielding completely to the bed…

In a moment, you can gently touch your thumb and index finger together, or simply think of the peaceful word rain, to capture this deep release… Whenever you need to find the quiet of this garden again, this gesture or word will bring you right back to this profound stillness…

Every time you listen to this session, your body will remember the way, and you will relax much faster… Night after night, the tensions of the day will take up less and less space, sliding off you just like soft raindrops on a smooth green leaf…

When you feel your breath become completely steady, you can simply let sleep settle in at its own pace… If sleep comes, just welcome it, and if not, this deep rest is already doing you so much good, and it counts just as much…

The garden is getting quieter now, and the soft colors are fading into a peaceful dusk… You are completely safe here… if anything needs your attention, you would be fully present, but for now, there is absolutely nothing else to do…

Just breathing softly, drifting beautifully into the quiet night, as the music plays a little longer, watching over you safely as you let go completely…
