Who is this session for?

This session is perfect for those nights when your mind feels cluttered with the events of the day and you just need a cozy escape. It is especially helpful if you find comfort in nature sounds and need a gentle transition to disconnect from your daily routine. Listen to this when you want to feel protected and warm while the outside world fades away.

How does it unfold?

  6. around 11 minDrifting offThe guidance slowly fades into quiet pauses, allowing you to slide softly into a peaceful slumber.

Why does it help you sleep?

This visualization helps you fall asleep by giving your active mind a comforting, sensory environment to focus on. By imagining the rhythmic sound of rain on the roof, your attention shifts away from racing thoughts and anchors onto a soothing, repetitive pattern. This mental shift signals to your body that you are safe, allowing your muscles to naturally release their tension. As you picture the raindrops washing away your worries, your physical body mimics this release, paving the way for a deep rest.

How to listen

Listen to this track in bed with the lights off, keeping the volume low enough so the rain sounds like a soft whisper. Make yourself as comfortable as possible, and remember that it is perfectly fine to fall asleep long before the session ends.

Welcome to this time of rest. Make yourself as comfortable as you can in your bed, noticing how the mattress supports your body completely. You don't have to achieve anything here… just allow yourself to settle in. And if anything needs your attention tonight, you will instantly be fully awake and present… but for now, you are safe here.

Now, take a slow, deep breath in through your nose, letting the air gently fill your stomach, and exhale softly…

Take another long, peaceful breath, feeling the cool air entering and the warm air leaving your body, settling you down…

And a third deep breath, inviting a wave of calm to flow all the way from the top of your head down to your toes…

Everyone knows that familiar moment when eyelids naturally become heavy… that moment when blinking slows down all by itself. Perhaps your eyelids are already feeling so pleasantly heavy… that it is simply much more comfortable to keep them closed.

When you notice your breathing slowing down all by itself… you can simply welcome it, without trying to change a thing. Your body already knows exactly how to rest… you have absolutely nothing to do, and nothing to know.

I don't know which part of your body will feel completely relaxed first… but you might imagine standing at the top of an old, warm wooden staircase. A safe, comforting staircase with ten steps… leading down to a perfectly protected space. With every step down, and with every breath out, you drift a little deeper into comfort.

Ten… stepping down, feeling the wood beneath your feet… letting go of tension.

Nine… eight… descending smoothly, as your shoulders become heavier and looser.

Seven… six… deeper and deeper down… the deeper you go, the better you feel.

Five… halfway down… four… three… feeling so incredibly safe and supported.

Two… and one… stepping into a beautiful, peaceful space.

You find yourself in the cozy attic of an old country house. The air is warm… carrying the comforting, woody scent of the old timber frame. You are wrapped in a soft, thick blanket… resting in the gentle, reassuring darkness of this sanctuary. And above you, just a few feet away, you can hear the steady, rhythmic sound of rain falling on the roof.

The heavier the rain sounds on the roof, the lighter and safer you feel inside this cozy cocoon. You can just listen to the rain… let go of the day… and simply… rest.

This rain is like a gentle river… washing over the roof… and as it flows down the tiles, it takes with it any remaining thoughts from your day. Whenever a thought arrives… you don't have to push it away. You just watch it slide down the roof with the raindrops… washing away into the night.

Leaving your mind as clear and quiet as the night air. It is so good to just take this time for yourself.

You are sinking deeper into your bed now… floating down gently, like a feather settling softly onto the ground. Tomorrow will take care of itself… for now, there is only this quiet moment, and the soothing sound of the rain.

Every time you listen to this session, your body will recognize this path… and you will relax even faster. And whenever you need to find this peace again, simply remembering the sound of this rain, or gently touching your thumb and index finger together, will bring you back to this calm. Day after day, the events of the day take up less space at night… leaving your mind clear and tranquil.

And now… you can just let go completely.

Drifting… sinking deeper… into a soothing, quiet space.

The music will continue for a while… keeping watch over you.

You can just drift… softly… deeply.
