Who is this session for?

This session is perfect for those who feel overwhelmed by the day's events and struggle to quiet their busy minds at bedtime. It is especially comforting when you crave a sense of safety and warmth to help you disconnect from outside worries. Listen to it when you want to be gently guided into relaxation through comforting imagery and rhythmic breathing.

How does it unfold?

  1. at the startOpening RitualYou settle comfortably in bed and take three slow breaths to signal to your body that it is time to rest.
  2. around 1 minBreath InductionYou use your exhales to release the day's lingering tensions, visualizing them fading away like a soft mist.
  3. around 2 minBody RelaxationA gentle body scan releases muscle tightness from your forehead down to your toes, allowing you to sink heavily into the mattress.
  4. around 4 minThe Attic RefugeYou are transported to a warm, cozy attic in a country house, safely wrapped in blankets while listening to the rain.
  5. around 7 minSynchronized BreathingYou align your breath with the steady sound of the rain, silently repeating a calming word to wash your mind clear.
  6. around 9 minSafe DescentYou imagine floating down like a feather and practice a simple hand gesture to memorize this profound state of calm.
  7. around 10 minDrifting to SleepThe voice slows down and fades, leaving you to drift naturally into sleep without any pressure.

Why does it help you sleep?

Associating your breath with the steady, rhythmic sound of rain naturally slows down your heart rate and soothes your nervous system. By visualizing a safe, enclosed space like a warm attic, your mind receives powerful cues that it is secure, allowing daily alertness to fade. Furthermore, actively releasing tension through your exhales helps clear away intrusive thoughts, creating a quiet mental space where sleep can gently take over.

How to listen

Listen to this recording when you are already in bed, lying comfortably in the dark with the volume set very low. You can let yourself fall asleep long before the audio finishes, as the gentle music will simply fade out on its own.

Welcome to this time of rest. Make yourself comfortable in your bed… noticing how the mattress supports your body completely. There is absolutely nothing you need to do right now… and nothing you need to know. If anything needs your attention tonight, you will instantly be fully present and alert… but for now, you can just rest.

Let us begin by taking a deep, slow breath in through your nose, filling your lungs entirely, and then letting it all go slowly…

Take another long breath, inviting the quiet of the evening into your body, and release it gently into the soft darkness around you…

And one more deep, comforting breath, letting your body sink a little deeper into the mattress as you exhale completely…

When you notice your breath slowing down all by itself… you can simply welcome it. With each breath out, you can let the day fade away.

As you exhale slowly, imagine any remaining tension of the day flowing out through your hands and your feet, like a soft mist fading into the distance…

Take another breath, and as you breathe out, let any lingering busy thoughts travel down your arms and legs, drifting away into the night air…

And once more, breathing out completely, allowing all the weight of the day to leave your body through your fingertips and toes, leaving you wonderfully light…

The heavier your body feels… the lighter your breath becomes. You might notice a feeling of warmth, or heaviness, or nothing at all… and whatever you feel is perfectly fine. Your body already knows exactly how to rest.

Let the tiny muscles around your eyes and your forehead soften and smooth out completely, taking all the time they need…

Let your jaw drop slightly… feeling that wave of relaxation travel down your neck, releasing your shoulders, and flowing all the way down your back…

Allow your arms to rest heavily… and let that deep comfort wash down through your chest, your warm center, sweeping down your legs all the way to your toes…

Everyone knows that comforting feeling of listening to the rain while being safe and warm in bed… I invite you to imagine you are resting in a cozy attic bedroom of a beautiful country house. The room is perfectly warm, and you can smell the faint, sweet scent of old wooden beams. You are wrapped securely in thick, soft blankets. And just above you, on the sloping roof, you can hear the gentle, steady sound of the rain. It is a protective cocoon where absolutely nothing can reach you.

As you listen to the rain, your breathing naturally matches the quiet rhythm of the evening. The sound of the water washes over the roof, washing your mind clear.

As you breathe in deeply, you might silently welcome the word peace or calm into your mind, letting it fill your entire being…

And as you breathe out, let that feeling of deep peace diffuse through your whole body, in perfect harmony with the steady patter of the rain…

Breathing in calm… and breathing out, letting that calm settle into every single cell, as the rain continues its gentle, soothing lullaby…

You are drifting deeper into this comfort, like a soft feather floating gently down through the warm, quiet air of the attic. Down… slowly down. And night after night, this deep rest will come more easily to you. Each time you listen to this session, your body will remember this peaceful path. If you like, you can gently touch your thumb and your index finger together right now… this simple gesture will help your body memorize this profound calm, so you can return to it whenever you need it.

You do not need to do anything else. If sleep comes, just let it come… and if not, this deep rest is already enough… it counts too.

Listening to every drop of rain on the roof, feeling how it brings you closer and closer to a quiet, peaceful night…

You can just drift now… safely held in the warmth of this quiet place, letting go completely…

The gentle music will continue to watch over you tonight… keeping you company for as long as you need…
