Why does it help you sleep?
Synchronizing your breath with the slow, steady rhythm of the ocean naturally slows down your heart rate and signals to your body that it is time to rest. The visualization of the thick, sturdy walls of the lighthouse creates a strong sense of safety, which helps you let your guard down. By giving your mind a gentle, repetitive image to focus on, this method quietly clears away daily worries and eases your transition into a peaceful sleep.
How to listen
Listen to this recording when you are already in bed, lying comfortably in the dark with the volume set low. Let the background waves carry you, and remember that it is perfectly fine if you fall asleep long before the session ends.

Welcome. Everyone knows that quiet moment when the body simply wants to rest… and you are entirely safe here. If anything needs your attention, you will instantly be fully present… but for now, allow your body to find its perfect position.
Notice the rhythmic waves outside. Every wave can take you deeper into comfort… as we take three slow breaths.
Take a long breath in through your nose… and exhale completely, letting your shoulders drop and your body settle softly into the mattress.
Take another slow breath in, gathering any lingering tension… and let it all flow out with a soft sigh, allowing yourself to sink even deeper.
One more time, breathe in deeply… and as you breathe out, feel your entire body resting heavily into the softness of your warm, comforting bed.
Let your breathing return to its natural rhythm. You might notice your exhale naturally becoming longer… and that is perfectly fine. Perhaps your eyelids are so heavy… that it is simply more comfortable to keep them closed.
With every breath out, you hear the distant waves retreating… gently pulling away any stress. Your mind has nothing to do, and your body already knows how to drift into sleep.
Allow a soothing wave of comfort to flow down your forehead and cheeks… melting away tightness in your shoulders, flowing down your arms to your fingertips.
This heaviness flows into your chest and belly… continuing down through your legs to your toes. Let your back sink into the surface beneath you… feeling as solid and secure as a lighthouse floor.
Imagine taking a few steps down into a beautiful, circular room at the base of this sturdy lighthouse. The thick stone walls keep you completely safe.
Three… stepping down, feeling completely safe and wonderfully supported by the warm wooden stairs beneath your resting feet.
Two… softly letting go of the day, moving deeper into a quiet, gentle tranquility with absolutely nothing to do right now.
And one… stepping into this cozy room, resting on a soft bed, feeling perfectly peaceful and entirely secure in this warm space.
Looking out through a thick window at the starry night, you see the peaceful ocean… and feel the absolute security of these strong walls.
The ocean knows how to let go. You naturally align your breath with the gentle rhythm of the sea.
As you breathe in gently, imagine a soft wave forming and rising on the surface of the water… quietly gathering a peaceful, soothing energy.
And as you breathe out with a long, slow exhale… the wave rolls smoothly onto the sandy shore, spreading a deep calm everywhere in your body.
Passing thoughts are like leaves floating on the water… simply let the evening tide carry them away. Picture the ocean rolling over smooth stones… polishing them beautifully… just as this restful time smooths away your tensions.
Your body is finding the exact deep rest it needs. Whenever you need this oceanic calm, simply touch your thumb and index finger together, and your body will remember… returning you to this safe lighthouse.
Each time you listen to this session, the sound of the waves will guide you to sleep faster. You allow yourself to trust this natural process.
There is no need to force anything… if sleep comes, let it come naturally… and if not, this deep rest is enough, and it restores your energy just the same.
The gentle waves continue to roll outside… slow and steady… washing the quiet shore just beyond your thick window.
You are completely safe in this warm space… drifting quietly… feeling incredibly heavy and deeply peaceful tonight.
Breathing slowly and naturally… sinking deeper and deeper into the comforting warmth of your soft, heavy bed.
The soothing sounds of the ocean will continue to watch over you as you deeply rest in this quiet night…
Just resting quietly… letting go of absolutely everything… drifting smoothly into the gentle, welcoming night…
