Evening Cloud: Let Go Before Sleep
Settle into a deeply comforting evening sky as you rest on a warm, fluffy cloud. This gentle journey will help you release the events of the day and effortlessly glide into restful sleep.
For the best experience, listen with headphones or earbuds.
- Listen
- In the evening, to let go of what you can't control.
- Technique
- Letting thoughts pass: You watch thoughts drift by like clouds, without holding or fighting them.
Who is this session for?
This session is for you if your mind keeps racing at bedtime with worries about things you cannot control. It is especially helpful on nights when you feel overwhelmed by the events of the day and need a safe space to simply let go. Listen to it when you want to release the burden of your thoughts and drift peacefully into sleep.
How does it unfold?
- at the startSettling in and opening ritualYou are guided through three slow, deep breaths to anchor yourself in the present moment.
- around 1 minBody inductionYour attention is drawn to your natural breathing as your body sinks heavily into the mattress.
- around 3 minDeepeningYou walk down a safe, ten-step staircase that leads you into a beautiful twilight sky.
- around 4 minThe cloud and letting goYou rest on a warm, supportive cloud while visualizing your worries as small grey wisps being gently blown away by the evening breeze.
- around 9 minReinforcement and anchoringYou create a physical anchor by touching your thumb and index finger, linking this simple gesture to the feeling of deep release.
- around 11 minDrifting into sleepThe voice slows down completely, allowing you to safely glide into the deep night while the music watches over you.
Why does it help you sleep?
This visualization helps you fall asleep by creating a clear mental image of releasing your everyday burdens. By imagining your uncontrollable worries as passing leaves or grey clouds carried away by the wind, you stop fighting your thoughts and instead observe them without judgment. This gentle acceptance reduces mental tension, while the sensory details of the warm, supportive cloud help your physical body relax entirely. As your mind feels lighter, your body naturally prepares for a deep, restful night.
How to listen
Lie down comfortably in your bed at a low volume, right when you are ready to sleep. Remember that you do not need to listen until the very end; if sleep comes early, simply let yourself drift away.

Welcome… I invite you to make yourself as comfortable as you can. Everyone knows that moment when the day is done and the body just wants to rest… and that is all you have to do now. There is nothing you need to achieve… and if anything needs your attention, you can always return fully at any moment. Right now, just notice the feeling of the mattress beneath you… holding you safely.
Take a slow, deep breath in through your nose, filling your lungs completely, and then exhale with a long, soft sigh…
Breathe in again, gently and deeply, letting your belly rise, and let the air out slowly, releasing the day…
Take one more deep breath, gathering any remaining tension, and exhale completely, letting your mind grow lighter…
Like a small cloud floating gently in the evening sky… you are settling into a space of quiet peace. You might notice that your breathing has already started to slow down all on its own… finding its own natural, easy rhythm. You don't have to control it anymore. I don't know which part of your body will feel the heaviest first… perhaps your shoulders relaxing… or your legs sinking deeper. The heavier your body sinks into the bed, the lighter your mind feels… as if the mattress is becoming as soft and welcoming as a cloud of cotton. Your body knows exactly how to rest… there is no need to make any effort to sleep. If sleep comes, let it come… and if not, this deep rest is enough, and it counts just as much. Imagine standing at the top of a beautiful, safe wooden staircase… leading gently down into a magnificent twilight sky. Ten steps down… and with every step, you can just… let go… and allow yourself to… rest deeply…
Ten… stepping down, feeling safe and secure…
Nine… the air around you is warm and perfectly still…
Eight… each step takes you twice as deep into comfort…
Seven… leaving the busy world behind you…
Six… descending easily, without any effort at all…
Five… halfway down, surrounded by soft evening colors…
Four… deeper and deeper into tranquility…
Three… almost there, feeling entirely supported…
Two… the heavier your body sinks, the lighter your mind feels…
And one… stepping off onto a massive, incredibly soft cloud.
You are resting on a wonderful, fluffy cloud… so wide and thick… wrapping around you like a warm, comforting blanket. You can feel its gentle texture beneath your hands… soft and perfectly supportive. All around you, the evening sky is painted in soothing shades of soft pink… deep violet… and calming midnight blue. It is a completely safe place… drifting slowly and peacefully.
Sometimes, thoughts about things we cannot control try to follow us into the evening. When you notice those passing clouds of thought, you can simply let the evening breeze carry them away… You might see those worries as small, grey wisps… or as autumn leaves caught in a gentle wind… Just notice them without judgment… you don't need to hold onto them… The breeze takes them far away, dissolving them into the vast twilight. The more you let them drift away, the more spacious and quiet your mind becomes. You are doing exactly what you need to do… simply observing… and letting the wind do all the work. Your grand, sturdy cloud continues to float peacefully, offering you total support and absolute safety.
Your mind knows how to drift, just as your body knows how to rest… Night after night, it becomes easier to release what you cannot control. Whenever you listen to this journey, you will find this cloud of peace much faster. If you like, you can gently touch your thumb and index finger together for a moment… This simple gesture will be your anchor… whenever you need to feel this sense of letting go, day or night, this light touch will bring you back to this feeling of support and release.
Now, let your hand rest completely… as your beautiful cloud begins to descend… very slowly… gliding safely toward the deep night.
Descending softly… drifting deeper…
The sky turns a rich, comforting dark blue…
You are completely safe… if anything needs your attention, you will be fully present…
But for now… there is nothing left to do…
The music will continue to watch over you for a while…
You can just let go…
Sinking into the softness…
Peaceful…
Quiet…
