Who is this session for?

This session is designed for anyone who struggles to leave the worries of the day behind when getting into bed. It is especially helpful if your mind keeps racing with thoughts about what you did or what you still need to achieve. Listen to it when you want to create a clear, comforting boundary between your busy day and a peaceful night.

How does it unfold?

  1. at the startBreathing and body scanYou will take a few deep breaths before letting your awareness move smoothly through each part of your body.
  2. around 4 minThe falling leafThe voice guides you to imagine a leaf gently drifting downward, helping your body sink deeper into the mattress.
  3. around 7 minThe twilight balconyYou will visualize yourself resting on a cozy porch at dusk, letting any remaining thoughts float away on a calm stream.
  4. around 11 minEmbracing natural sleepYou are invited to stop searching for sleep and simply let it wash over you like a gentle, returning tide.

Why does it help you sleep?

This specific sequence helps to quiet an overactive mind by giving it soothing, continuous imagery to focus on. By quickly shifting your attention through different body parts, it prevents you from getting stuck on repetitive daily thoughts. The visualization of the falling leaf and the fading evening sky naturally mirrors the physical process of falling asleep. This gently encourages your body to wind down, making it much easier to drift off without any pressure.

How to listen

Listen to this recording at a low volume once you are comfortably settled in bed with the lights out. Do not worry if you drift off before the end, as the session is designed to let you fall asleep naturally at your own pace.

Welcome… Everyone knows that moment when the day is finally over and the body simply wants to rest… It is so good to take this time just for you, to simply be here… You are safe in your room… and if anything around you requires your attention, your mind will instantly become fully present and alert… But for now, there is nothing you need to achieve… nothing you need to do… just allow your body to settle comfortably into your bed… feeling the support of the mattress beneath you… And whenever you are ready, you can softly close your eyes… letting go of the day… gently putting it away just as you would fold and put away a piece of clothing…

Take a slow, deep breath in through your nose, letting your belly gently expand, and then breathe out very slowly through your mouth…

Breathe in again, filling your lungs with quiet, peaceful air, and then release it in a long, steady exhale…

Take one more deep breath, drawing in calmness and relaxation, and let it all flow out, completely emptying your lungs…

Now let your breathing return to its own natural, easy rhythm… When you notice your breathing slowing down all by itself… you can simply welcome that comfort… And I wonder what you will notice first… the warmth of the blanket, or the heaviness in your shoulders… Just let your awareness drift smoothly through your body… moving without stopping… from the right thumb… index finger… middle finger… ring finger… little finger… the palm of the right hand… the wrist… forearm… elbow… shoulder… the right side of the chest… the right hip… thigh… knee… calf… ankle… heel… the sole of the right foot… and the right toes… Now moving to the left thumb… index finger… middle finger… ring finger… little finger… palm… wrist… forearm… elbow… shoulder… the left side of the chest… the left hip… thigh… knee… calf… ankle… heel… the sole of the left foot… and the left toes… Feeling the whole back resting… the spine… the back of the neck… the back of the head… and softening the face… the forehead… the eyes… the jaw… Your whole body resting…

And as you rest… you can imagine a beautiful, soft leaf… gently detaching from a branch in the quiet evening air… watching it as it floats and descends… slowly and peacefully… drifting side to side in a gentle, warm breeze… And with every downward movement of that leaf, your body sinks a little deeper into the mattress… sinking safely… easily… without any effort at all… down toward the soft, tender grass below… And… whether you focus on the sound of my voice, or the comforting feeling of your mattress… every sound of the night or the house only helps you drift further down… safe and supported…

If any thoughts from the day come to mind… you can simply imagine them as small leaves resting on the surface of a slow, calm stream… Just watch them float away gently… drifting out of sight at their own pace… leaving your mind clear and open… You can now imagine yourself sitting on a comfortable wooden porch or a cozy balcony at dusk… feeling the smooth, warm wood beneath your hands… The sky is painted in soft, fading colors… gentle blues, warm purples, and deep oranges… slowly blending into the calm darkness of night… You can hear the distant, rhythmic chirping of crickets… a steady, soothing sound that wraps around you… You might even feel a soft, warm breeze brushing against your skin… bringing the faint, sweet scent of evening air… Your mind is completely absorbed in this peaceful scene… and as the evening settles…

you can let go…

and simply rest…

Just being here… entirely present in this twilight moment… safe and deeply relaxed…

There is absolutely no need to search for sleep… or to force it in any way… Sleep comes all on its own… like a gentle tide returning to the shore… And if it takes a little time… this deep rest you are giving yourself tonight is already fully restoring your body and mind… Every time you listen to this session, your body will remember this peaceful path and relax much more quickly… The simple sensation of your head resting on this very pillow will become, night after night, a natural signal for your whole being to let go completely…

Drifting now… deeper and deeper…

The music will continue to watch over your rest for a while…

If anything needs your attention, you will always be fully present… but for now…

you can just slide into comfort…

Letting go completely…

Peaceful… and safe…
