Who is this session for?
This session is for those nights when your mind is racing and you cannot seem to switch off the day's busy thoughts. It is especially helpful when you feel overwhelmed by mental loops and need a comforting, quiet space to settle down.
How does it unfold?

- around 4 minDeepeningThe image of a single, slowly falling snowflake helps you drift further down into a feeling of complete safety.
- around 5 minFire and Auroras MetaphorYou observe the crackling fire soften into quiet embers, mirroring how your busy thoughts naturally slow down, while the Northern Lights sweep away any remaining tension.
- around 9 minReinforcementA simple physical gesture is introduced to help you easily recall this deep calm on future nights.
- around 11 minDrifting to SleepThe guidance slowly fades away, leaving you with the peaceful sounds of the fire to accompany you into sleep.
Why does it help you sleep?
This visualization helps you fall asleep by giving your active mind a focal point rather than forcing it to stop. By watching the loud, crackling flames naturally transition into quiet embers, your attention shifts from daytime worries to sensory comfort. This gentle shift in focus helps your body settle and signals to your nervous system that it is safe to release tension.
How to listen
Listen to this journey while lying comfortably in bed, with the volume set low enough that the fire sounds feel like a soft whisper. You can simply let go at any time, knowing it is perfectly fine to drift off long before the recording ends.

Welcome. You are here to rest. There is nothing to achieve, and you remain in control… if you need to adjust or move, you can do so easily. Notice how your body is settling onto the mattress… feeling the support of the pillows beneath you.
Take a slow breath in through your nose… letting your stomach rise gently… and exhale softly, releasing all effort.
Take another deep breath… filling your lungs with calm, peaceful air… and let it all out with a long, slow sigh.
And a third time, breathe in deeply at your own pace… gathering any remaining tension… and breathe out completely, letting it all go.
And every sound of the crackling fire you hear can take you a little deeper into comfort… welcoming each spark as an invitation to settle down. Your breathing can now return to its own natural rhythm… you have nothing to do… nothing to know. Your body already knows exactly how to relax. Everyone knows that feeling when the eyelids become so pleasantly heavy… so heavy and comfortable that it becomes a relief to simply keep them closed. Let them rest.
Imagine you are resting in a beautiful wooden cabin in Lapland… safely tucked under a thick, heavy blanket. I don't know if you will feel the soothing warmth of the fire in your hands first… or in your feet… but you can just let that warmth spread. The air in the room is pleasantly crisp and fresh… while your body is completely wrapped in deep, radiant heat. Your legs feel heavy… sinking into the soft mattress beneath you. Your shoulders drop… letting go of the day.
As you notice your body sinking deeper into the mattress, you can simply welcome this rest. Outside, the night is still and quiet. Picture a single, soft snowflake falling from the dark sky… drifting down slowly… gently… safely through the crisp air. And just like that snowflake floating downward… with every exhale, you drift a little deeper into relaxation… descending smoothly and safely until you settle in complete peace.
Listen to the fire burning in the hearth. The logs crackle loudly, and the bright flames dance with energy… much like the busy thoughts and the endless loops of the day. You don't need to put the fire out… you just let it burn at its own pace. And as you watch, naturally, without any effort… the flames begin to soften. The loud crackling slows down… becoming quiet. The busy wood transforms into soft, glowing red embers… radiating a deep, silent warmth. The more the fire turns to gentle embers… the quieter your mind becomes.
Through the frosty window… the Northern Lights appear in the sky. Rivers of soft green and purple light… sweeping across the darkness with infinite slowness. The nature outside knows how to… slow down… and simply… rest. As these gentle lights sweep across the vast sky… they carry away any remaining thoughts… leaving your mind as calm and peaceful as the glowing embers in the hearth.
Night after night… your mind is learning how to let the day's agitation settle all on its own… without needing to fight it. You can gently bring your thumb and index finger together for a moment. This simple touch will help you remember the soothing warmth and the deep silence of this cabin… whenever you need it on future nights. Each time you listen to this journey… your body and mind will slip into this calm even more easily.
If sleep comes… let it carry you away… and if not, this deep rest is enough… it counts too. If anything needs your attention, you will instantly be fully present… but for now, there is only peace.
Just the soft, gentle glow of the embers… radiating a quiet warmth that wraps entirely around you in this silent night…
Your breathing is so slow and peaceful… as you sink deeper and deeper into the heavy comfort of the mattress…
And you can just drift away now… letting go completely… while the warm fire watches over you in the quiet dark…
