Who is this session for?
This session is for anyone feeling overwhelmed by racing thoughts or evening anxiety when their head hits the pillow. It is perfect for those nights when the worries of the day refuse to quiet down, helping you transition from a busy mind to a state of deep, peaceful rest.
How does it unfold?

- around 1 minBreathing InductionBy lengthening your exhales, your eyelids naturally become heavy until it feels more comfortable to simply close your eyes.
- around 2 minBody RelaxationA gentle wave of calm flows from the top of your head down to your toes, releasing tension from every muscle.
- around 4 minDeepeningYou mentally walk down a small wooden staircase, with each of the five steps doubling your feeling of profound comfort.

- around 8 minEasing DownPositive suggestions reassure you that tomorrow will take care of itself as you sink deeper into the warm, imaginary sand.
- around 10 minDrifting OffThe voice slowly fades away without waking you, leaving only the sound of the ocean to accompany your sleep.
Why does it help you sleep?
This approach helps you fall asleep by shifting your focus away from anxious thoughts and grounding your attention in rich, sensory imagery. The extended exhales at the beginning naturally slow your heart rate, signaling to your nervous system that it is safe to relax. By visualizing your worries being washed away and creating a physical anchor with your fingers, your mind learns to associate letting go with deep physical comfort.
How to listen
Listen to this recording at a low volume when you are already in bed, lying in your favorite sleeping position. It is completely natural to drift off before the end, as the gentle ocean sounds will continue to soothe you into the night.

Welcome to this time of quiet rest. Everyone knows that moment when the day is done and the body simply wants to rest… You might be wondering how quickly you will fall asleep tonight, and whatever happens is perfectly fine… Allow your body to settle deeply into your bed. Notice the points where you are supported… your heels resting softly… the broad surface of your back… the comfortable weight of your head on the pillow. If anything needs your attention tonight, you will instantly be fully present… but for now, there is nowhere else to be. These waves you hear can already begin to wash over your day.
Take a slow, comforting breath in through your nose, feeling the cool air fill your lungs, and let it out with a soft, long sigh, letting go of the day…
Breathe in slowly and peacefully for a count of four, and exhale completely for a gentle count of six, letting every bit of tension leave your body…
Just let your breathing find its own natural rhythm now, rising and falling like the gentle waves on a quiet shore. Notice how your eyelids are becoming heavier with each breath you take. Soon, it becomes more comfortable to simply keep them closed, allowing that soothing darkness to wrap around you.
I don't know if your shoulders will relax first, or if your back will sink deeper first… but you can feel a gentle wave of calm flowing down from the top of your head. It smooths your forehead… relaxes your jaw… and flows down your neck. Your shoulders sink heavily into the mattress. This warmth travels down your arms to your fingertips… down through your chest and back… flowing through your legs to your toes. Your bed is holding you completely, and it feels so good to let go.
Imagine a small, peaceful wooden staircase leading down to a beautiful beach. There are just five steps. With each step down, you sink twice as deeply into comfort. Five… stepping down onto the warm wood. Four… each step takes you deeper into quiet. Three… feeling completely safe and supported. Two… almost there, leaving the busy world behind. One… stepping softly onto the fine sand. When you notice your breathing matching the rhythm of the waves, you can simply welcome that profound calm.
You are standing on a quiet beach, bathed in the silver light of a full moon. The sand beneath you is still holding the gentle warmth of the daytime sun. A soft, cool breeze brushes your skin, bringing the fresh scent of the ocean. The more you listen to the water, the heavier and more relaxed your body becomes. You can leave any remaining thoughts or worries right here in the sand… just lay them down like pebbles… and watch as the gentle tide rolls in to wash them away. The water carries it all out to the vast, peaceful sea.
To keep this deep sense of peace, you can gently press your thumb and index finger together right now… pressing your thumb and index finger together to save this exact feeling. Whenever you need this peace, simply touching your thumb and index finger together will bring back the quiet of this moonlit beach.
Tomorrow will take care of itself. Day after day, you will find that evening worries simply take up less space, washing away easily. Each time you listen to this session and hear these waves, your body will remember the way, and this deep calm will return even faster. You can just allow yourself to… let go… and… rest completely…
The waves will continue to watch over you. Your body is sinking deeper into the warm sand… deeper into your mattress… If sleep comes, let it come… and if not, this deep rest is enough.
You are sinking deeper and deeper into this profound comfort… letting the gentle sound of the ocean carry you completely into the most peaceful and restorative rest…
