The relaxation technique encourages a natural feeling of warmth and heaviness, which signals safety to your nervous system. By accepting that simply resting is enough, you remove the mental blocks that keep you awake, paving the way for sleep to return.

Welcome to this quiet moment of rest… if anything around you truly needs your attention, your mind will instantly become fully present and alert.

But for now… you have absolutely nothing to do except settle into your bed… feeling the comfortable support of your mattress beneath you.

When you notice your breath slowing down all by itself… you can simply welcome it… knowing your body already knows exactly how to rest.

Take a slow, deep breath in through your nose… letting your belly gently expand… and slowly release the air, making your exhale a little longer than your inhale.

Breathe in again smoothly and peacefully… gathering a sense of stillness… and let it all flow out softly, sinking a little deeper into the cushions.

One more time, inhale the quietness of the room… and as you exhale completely, allow every muscle to loosen, knowing there is nothing to achieve here, just the pure pleasure of resting.

Everyone knows that moment when the night is quiet and the mind wakes up… and you might wonder what will happen next… but right now, resting your body is just as valuable.

There is no need to try to sleep… simply resting quietly like this is deeply repairing all on its own… so if sleep comes, let it come, and if not, this peace is enough.

If thoughts about the time or the day ahead arrive… you can just greet them like passing guests… and let them drift away on their own without fighting them at all.

I do not know which will feel heavy first… your right arm or your left arm… but you can softly repeat to yourself… my arms and legs are heavy.

My arms and legs… are pleasantly heavy… sinking effortlessly into the softness of the bed… as you silently tell yourself… I am completely calm.

And as that comforting weight settles in… you might notice a gentle warmth spreading… repeating quietly… my arms and legs are warm.

My arms and legs… are pleasantly warm… a soothing, wrapping heat that relaxes every fiber… while your breath continues its own natural rhythm.

You can simply observe this gentle movement and think… it breathes me… my breath is calm and effortless… flowing exactly as it should.

Allowing that comforting warmth to pool softly in your center… telling yourself… my belly is warm… a deep and tranquil heat radiating outward.

While at the same time… you can feel a subtle, refreshing breeze higher up… repeating softly… my forehead is pleasantly cool and clear.

And from this space of profound comfort… you can imagine a soft, white feather… drifting down slowly through the calm, warm air of a quiet room.

With every gentle exhale you take… you can follow that feather down… descending safely and effortlessly into an even deeper layer of stillness.

The heavier your body feels against the bed… the lighter your mind becomes… floating down like that feather, completely secure and held.

Down and down… swaying gently on the quiet currents of the night… taking you exactly where you need to be to find complete and restorative peace.

You can connect this wonderful feeling of heaviness and peace to a simple word… like the word rest… or by softly touching your thumb and index finger together.

Every time you listen to this session… your body will recognize this path… and it will become easier and faster to find this deep comfort.

Night after night… if you ever wake up early… this simple word or gentle gesture will help you return to this quiet sanctuary without any effort.

And now… there is nothing left to do… nowhere else to be… as the gentle waves of the night carry you further along.

You can just allow yourself to sink into this very quiet and comforting space… where everything is peaceful and still.

Simply deciding to let go of the outside world entirely… embracing the profound softness of the mattress beneath you.

And allowing your entire being to rest deeply and completely… enveloped in a gentle cocoon of warmth and safety.

Drifting gently and peacefully… the soothing music will continue for a while longer… watching over you as you remain in this beautiful tranquility.
