Who is this session for?
This session is for anyone who wakes up in the early hours of the morning and struggles to fall back asleep. It is specially designed for those frustrating moments when your mind starts racing before the sun is even up. You can listen to it right in your bed to help you let go of the pressure to sleep and simply find deep rest.

- around 2 minAcceptance and Body ScanThe session relieves the pressure of needing to sleep, followed by a continuous, soothing sweep of attention across every part of your body.
- around 7 minContrasting SensationsYou explore feelings of heaviness and lightness, warmth and coolness, before visualizing a leaf gently drifting to the ground.

- around 12 minFinal DriftThe guidance gradually slows down with long pauses, allowing you to effortlessly drift into a peaceful slumber.
Why does it help you sleep?
This approach helps you fall back asleep by removing the anxiety of being awake too early. By keeping your attention moving continuously during the body scan, it prevents your mind from dwelling on stressful thoughts. The exploration of contrasting sensations further occupies the brain and gently tires your focus. Ultimately, this creates a state of deep physical relaxation that naturally paves the way for sleep to return on its own.
How to listen
Listen to this track at a very low volume as soon as you realize you are awake in the early morning, lying comfortably in your favorite sleeping position. Do not worry about hearing every word, as it is perfectly fine to drift off long before the session ends.

Everyone knows that quiet moment in the early morning when the world is still… and you find yourself awake. Welcome to this peaceful time just for you. There is absolutely nothing you need to achieve right now… you are completely safe. Take a moment to settle your body comfortably… noticing the gentle support of your mattress beneath you.
Let's take three slow breaths together… breathing in deeply through your nose, letting your belly rise softly, and exhaling fully to release any tension…
Take another long, slow breath in… filling your chest and stomach with quiet, peaceful air, and let it go completely…
And one last deep breath… inhaling tranquility, and exhaling softly as your body sinks a little deeper into the bed…
Now simply let your breathing return to its own natural, easy rhythm… without trying to control it in any way. You might notice your eyelids becoming pleasantly heavy… so heavy that it just feels much more comfortable to keep them gently closed. The resting has already begun.
If sleep comes back, let it come… and if not, simply resting your body is perfectly fine. This quiet repose counts too… nourishing you deeply. Your body already knows exactly how to rest… you don't need to force anything at all. We are just going to let your attention glide across your body… like a soft, soothing breeze. You might feel a slight tingle, or warmth, or nothing at all… and that is perfectly fine.
Just bring your awareness to your right thumb… your right index finger… middle finger… ring finger… and little finger. The palm of your right hand… the back of the hand… the wrist… forearm… elbow… upper arm… and the right shoulder. Flowing down the right side of your chest… your waist… right hip… thigh… knee… calf… ankle… heel… the sole of your right foot… and all the right toes.
Now letting your attention gently shift to the left side… noticing your left thumb… left index finger… middle finger… ring finger… and little finger. The palm of your left hand… the back of the hand… the wrist… forearm… elbow… upper arm… and the left shoulder. Flowing down the left side of your chest… your waist… left hip… thigh… knee… calf… ankle… heel… the sole of your left foot… and all the left toes.
Sweeping your awareness across your back… the lower back… middle back… upper back… the back of the neck… and the back of your head. Resting your attention on your face… your forehead… eyelids… cheeks… jaw… and the front of your neck… chest… and stomach. Your whole body resting quietly…
And I wonder which you will notice first… the gentle warmth… or the comforting heaviness in your limbs. Feel your body becoming heavier… sinking softly into the mattress… fully supported by the bed beneath you.
And as you feel this heaviness… you might also notice a sense of lightness… a gentle, floating sensation… as if your mind is light and free.
Perhaps you can feel a cozy, soothing warmth spreading through your hands and feet… melting away any lingering tension…
Followed by a refreshing, gentle coolness… like a soft morning breeze brushing across your forehead… clearing your thoughts.
Now allow yourself to experience both… the comforting warmth and the soothing coolness… the heavy relaxation and the floating lightness… all at once… a perfect, peaceful harmony.
When you notice your breathing slowing down all by itself… you can just welcome that peace. Imagine a single, beautiful leaf swaying gently back and forth in the calm air… drifting slowly down… effortlessly… safely descending to the soft earth below.
You are completely safe… resting deeply. Your body is doing exactly what it needs to do right now… restoring its energy. You can invite this profound calm to stay with you… simply by gently touching your thumb and index finger together. Let this small movement be your quiet signal… an anchor you can use whenever you wake in the night or early morning. Gently touching your thumb and index finger together reminds your body to return to this peaceful state… without even needing to listen to this audio. And every time you return to this practice, letting go will become easier and more natural… your body remembers the way.
And now… there is nothing left to do… nowhere else to be. Just this quiet space…
You can drift… as slowly as you like…
If anything needs your attention, you will instantly be fully present… but for now… just rest…
Sinking deeper…
The music will continue for a little while…
It watches over you…
Resting peacefully…
