Who is this session for?

This session is for anyone who struggles to quiet a racing mind at the end of the day. It is perfect to listen to when you are already in bed, seeking a natural way to transition from daily stress to deep relaxation. It gently guides those who need a peaceful escape to unwind before sleep.

How does it unfold?

  1. at the startSettling inThe voice welcomes you into your bed, using three slow breaths to help you leave the day behind.
  2. around 1 minBreath and heavinessYou are invited to notice your natural breathing as a comforting heaviness spreads through your eyelids and body.
  3. around 2 minSafe descentYou imagine sinking safely into a soft surface, like warm sand, as the fading daylight deepens your relaxation.
  4. around 4 minThe tropical islandYou visualize a dusk landscape and synchronize your breathing with the hypnotic rhythm of the ocean waves.
  5. around 9 minAnchoring calmA simple physical gesture is introduced to help you instantly recall this deep peace anytime you need it.
  6. around 10 minDrifting to sleepThe voice gradually fades away, leaving only the soothing sound of the ocean to rock you into slumber.

Why does it help you sleep?

By focusing your attention on the steady movement of the ocean, your mind naturally stops jumping from one thought to another. Synchronizing your breath with the rolling waves slows down your heart rate and signals to your nervous system that it is safe to rest. This combination of sensory imagination and slow breathing physically relaxes your muscles, making the transition into sleep feel effortless and smooth.

Welcome to this time of rest… Everyone knows that moment when the day fades and the body naturally seeks comfort… When you are ready, allow yourself to settle completely into your bed… Notice the feeling of the mattress beneath you, supporting your back, your legs, your shoulders… There is nothing you need to achieve here, just let yourself be carried by the gentle sound of the waves… If anything needs your attention, you will instantly be fully present and awake… but for now, you can just rest. Take a moment to close your eyes, whenever you wish, and just be here… Take a slow, deep breath in, feeling your chest rise, and then let all the air out as you begin to settle down…

Breathe in again softly, gathering any remaining thoughts, and exhale fully, letting them drift away on the breeze…

Take one more deep, comfortable breath in, filling your lungs calmly, and release it slowly, relaxing your whole body…

Now simply let your breathing return to its own natural, easy rhythm… You don't have to do anything at all… your body already knows exactly how to relax and let go of the day… Notice how your eyelids might be feeling a little heavier… so wonderfully heavy and comfortable that it becomes a true pleasure to keep them gently closed… Every time you breathe out, you can feel that heaviness spreading downward… from your face, to your neck, all the way to your chest. The heavier your body feels on the bed, the lighter your breath becomes… sinking down safely into the softness beneath you… It is almost like resting on a bed of warm, soft sand… holding you perfectly… I don't know if you will first notice the warmth in your hands, or the deep relaxation in your shoulders… and whatever you feel is perfectly fine… As the soft light of the day slowly fades into dusk, you can let yourself descend a little deeper into comfort with every exhale… deeper and deeper into this safe, quiet space.

Imagine, or simply sense, that you are resting on a beautiful, peaceful tropical island… The evening air is perfectly warm against your skin… a gentle, comforting temperature that makes you feel completely secure… Above you, the sky is painted in soft pastel colors… fading from warm orange to a calm, deep blue… You might even notice the faint, fresh scent of the ocean in the air…

Listen to the steady, endless rhythm of the water… The waves rolling in… and rolling out… And as you listen, you can begin to match your breathing to this natural, ancient rhythm… As the wave glides smoothly up the warm sand, allow your breath to flow in easily, bringing a sense of calm…

And as the wave slowly recedes back into the ocean, let your exhale stretch out completely, washing away any tension…

With every wave that gently pulls back into the ocean, you drift a little deeper into absolute comfort and ease…

Inhale softly as the water approaches the shore, filling you with quiet peace and tranquility…

Exhale slowly as the water retreats, taking away all the effort of the day, leaving you feeling wonderfully light…

Your mind is completely absorbed by this beautiful, soothing motion… moving in… and moving out… Nothing else matters right now. You are deeply rested, and this deep rest will protect your sleep all through the night… To remember this feeling, you can gently press your thumb and index finger together, right now… This simple movement, or just thinking of the word wave, will bring you back to this peaceful island whenever you need it… Each time you listen to this session, the soothing rhythm of the waves will bring you to this deep calm even faster… Night after night, resting becomes simpler, and your body embraces this quiet time more easily.

The sky is now a blanket of soft, dark velvet… The island is quiet… just the sound of the water… You can just let yourself… let go… and allow the mind to… sleep… peacefully…

Whether sleep comes right now, or in a few moments, this deep rest is already enough… it is already bringing you a profound sense of peace…

You can just continue to drift away… so safe… so heavy… letting go completely… allowing the gentle sound of the waves to carry you safely into a deep, peaceful sleep…
