Welcome to this time of rest. You are completely safe here, and you always remain in full control of your experience… simply taking this moment to unwind. Allow your body to settle deeply into this new bed… noticing the mattress supporting your back… your shoulders… and your legs.

Now, take a slow, comfortable breath in through your nose, filling your chest and stomach… and then exhale gently, letting go of the day's travel.

Take another smooth, deep breath in, gathering any lingering tension… and sigh it all out slowly, allowing your muscles to soften and sink down.

And one more time, inhale calmly and fully at your own natural pace… and as you breathe out, feel a comforting wave of relaxation flowing through you.

And every new sound in this room or outside the building can simply become a gentle reminder to let go a little more… welcoming everything exactly as it is.

As your breathing begins to slow down all by itself, you might notice the comforting rhythm of your chest rising and falling. Everyone knows that comforting feeling when the body finally sinks into a soft mattress at the end of a long day…

You can simply let your breath find its own natural rhythm now. Let your attention drift gently through your body… moving lightly and effortlessly. Noticing the right thumb… the index finger… the middle finger… ring finger… and pinky… the palm of the right hand… the wrist… moving up to the right shoulder… down the right side… the right leg… all the way to the toes.

And then the left thumb… index finger… middle finger… ring finger… pinky… the palm of the left hand… the wrist… up to the left shoulder… down the left side… the left leg… to the toes.

Feeling the whole back resting… and the whole front of your body softening. You might feel a pleasant heaviness, or a gentle warmth, or nothing in particular… and whatever you feel is perfectly fine.

As you notice your breathing slowing down all by itself… you can simply allow your body to rest. With every exhalation, your body sinks a little deeper into the mattress.

Imagine a soft, colorful leaf… gently detaching from a branch… floating down slowly through the calm, warm air. Floating down… in complete safety… easily… without any effort at all.

Drifting deeper and deeper down… completely secure… letting go completely as the leaf settles softly on the warm earth.

And as you rest here, you can begin to imagine a place of absolute peace and perfect safety… your very own inner haven. It might be a familiar room from your past… a cozy cabin… a quiet garden… or simply a space you create right now in your mind.

And I wonder what you will notice first in your safe place… the gentle, warm light… or the feeling of complete safety in the air…

Notice the perfect temperature on your skin. Listen to the soothing, familiar sounds around you. Look at the soft, comforting colors.

This is your sanctuary. A place where you are entirely at home.

To capture this profound feeling of safety and comfort, you can gently press your thumb and index finger together on one hand… just a very light touch.

As your fingers touch, feel this sense of home wrapping around you like a soft, warm blanket. And as you rest in this new bed tonight, you can feel how this mattress and these sheets are becoming an extension of your safe place… a protective cocoon built just for you. This bed is simply a space holding your inner sanctuary.

You can release your fingers whenever you wish. The night is a time to simply… let go… and allow your mind to… rest deeply.

There is absolutely no effort to make. You do not even need to try to sleep. This deep rest is already restoring your energy… and if sleep comes, you can simply let it wash over you.

Every moment spent resting here is perfectly fine. The body knows exactly how to recharge.

And remember that whenever you touch your thumb and index finger together… this deep feeling of being safely at home will return to you instantly, wherever you are in the world. Each night you spend in this bed will feel more and more comfortable… more and more familiar.

If anything at all requires your attention tonight, you will immediately be fully present and alert… but for now, you can just let go.

You carry your own perfect resting space inside you… always accessible… always yours.

The music will continue to play for a while… watching over your rest… as you drift… peacefully… into the quiet night.
